After being Professor of cardiology at Georges Pompidou hospital in Paris and head of the Heart Valves Unit there, Professor Karam is currently working at Clemenceau Medical Center in Beirut and head of the Cardiology division at Balamand University. She is also Chair of the EAPCI Structural and valve disease committee.
