American College of Cardiology (ACC)

In 1949, 13 cardiologists, led by Franz Groedel, MD, MACC and Bruno Kisch, MD, MACC, founded the American College of Cardiology during what is often called "The Golden Age of Cardiology." Today, with more than 54,000 members from around the world,

the College is once again facing a crossroads in the midst of a constantly changing health care environment. Rapid advances in science and technology, uncertainty about systems of medical care delivery and growing demand for cardiovascular care around the globe present extraordinary challenges and opportunities for cardiovascular medicine.

Our main mission is to transform cardiovascular care and improve heart health. As per our vision , we desire a world where innovation and knowledge optimize cardiovascular care and outcomes.

Joint Intervention Meeting (JIM)

The Joint Interventional Meeting, JIM 2022 will give an update for Interventional Cardiologists regarding the status of percutaneous cardiovascular interventions. This goal will be obtained utilizing various live cases illustrated,

commented and criticized by experienced senior operators. The interaction between commentators and the primary operator will allow the discussion of different approaches and alternative solutions. This will give the attending physician the opportunity to participate in the discussion of the pros and cons of different strategies as well as how to apply various diagnostic and interventional tools in the management of complex coronary, peripheral and structural heart disease interventions.

Following the attendance at this meeting, the physicians should be updated regarding the most important achievements and limitations in Interventional Cardiology and they should be equipped to understand current applicability of various cardiac interventions and future developments in this field.

JIM 2022 edition will be in presence for a limited number of participants and virtual (open to everyone in the world!).

The conference sessions will be transmitted live through a dedicated multimedia platform.

The live participation allows a high level of interaction between operators, panelists and participants.

All webinar sessions will be recorded and available on demand to all registered participants till September 30th, 2022 on the same platform.
