Dr. Abdelaal is a pediatric cardiologist by training and served as the Medical Director of the Magdi Yacoub Aswan Heart Center (AHC) since its launch up to 2019. As of August of 2019, he moved to the USA to serve as the Medical Director at the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Foundation USA. He graduated from Cairo University School of Medicine and participated in international fellowships at Boston Children’s Hospital, The Cleveland Clinic, and Harefield Hospital UK.
