Associate Professor Shibu Mathew is Head of Electrophysiology at the University of Essen.

He studied Medicine in Hamburg (Germany) and Cape Town(SA) and was trained in Mannheim and Hamburg (Germany). Shibu Mathew worked as Head of EP from 2019-2022 at the University of Giessen (Germany). He is an elected Board Member of the German National Arrhythmia Society (AGEP/DGK).
