Dr. Hendel has served at the national level as the President of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and as President of the Cardiovascular Council of the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM) and received the Hermann Blumgardt Award from the SNM for outstanding service in nuclear cardiology.
