
Mohamed Magdi
Dr Mohamed Magdi is Head of Department of Electrophysiology (EP) at AL Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah, UAE, as well as Chairman and Director of Gulf EP Live international meeting. He is also Professor of Critical Care Cardiology and Electrophysiology at Cairo University in Egypt.
Dr Magdi obtained his Doctorate of Critical Care Cardiology and Electrophysiology at Cairo University Hospital in 2009. He was a Consultant and Fellow in the EP department at the University Hospital of Nancy, France from 2005 to 2007, where he performed over 1000 cases of ablation.
Dr Magdi is a member of the European Society of Cardiology, European Heart Rhythm Association, Egyptian Heart Rhythm Association and instructor at the American College of Trauma. He was the chair and presenter of several international meetings such as Cardiostim and Heart Rhythm Society meeting in 2016.
With a research interest in electroanatomic mapping and ablation, Dr Magdi has authored over 10 publications in international journals including the Journal of Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology, Annales de Cardiologie et d’Angéiologie and Europace.
