Lebanese Society of Cardiology

Lebanese Society of CardiologyCreated in 1959, the Lebanese Society of Cardiology now has nearly 450 members spread over all Lebanese territory. After the sad years of war and since its rebirth in 1990, the LSC strives to bring all its members despite belonging differences that reflect the Lebanese society, and strives to consolidate all around a scientific project or only science is at the rendezvous. With successive efforts of all the presidents and executive committees that have occurred to date, we have succeeded in creating a convivial environment, competitiveness and scientific collaboration, far sociopolitical conflicts and unfair competition.
Like a cedar with roots in the heart of Lebanon and its branches tend to the world in its diversity, the Lebanese Society opens to the world: Member of the European Society of Cardiology and the Heart Word Federation, the LSC has also launched in 2012 the “ACC Chapters”.
It marks its presence in various international and regional conferences since organizes sessions in collaboration with other national societies such as the American College of Cardiology Euro PCR. TST, the Congress of the French Society of Cardiology, Cardio Alex ….
The LSC is a driving force, shown scientifically by its working groups and their talented presidents which I warmly thank the effort and commitment: The WG-invasive, Rhythm, imaging, prevention, cardio pediatrics, heart failure and recently the group TOC, created to encourage young cardiologists and residents in training in scientific work and publications, and a committee of specialists responsible for the various national registries.
The Lebanese Society of Cardiology also has an important scientific activity, she organizes CSF held in November alternating with the international cardiology congress.
LSC provides to all its members “medical education” continues and is committed to disseminate “the Guidelines” through regional meetings, the level of attendance testifies to their success.

Thank you for your great effort , support and organising this conference. But the comment was during nursing sessions there is no interest or organisation. My suggestion is if you can put the nursing sessions between medical ones to give attention to this important sessions. Again it was a great conference in both significant and social side. Looking forward for the next one.
